Logan Chair

The Logan name is synonymous with New Zealand’s burgeoning boat building industry at the turn of the 20th century, designing and building some of the most famous yachts of the time including Iriki and Rawene. Some of these beautiful ships still grace harbours around New Zealand today with their full white canvas sails, uniformed crew, polished decks and immaculately wound ropes. The Logan chair references the ropes that you see carefully wrapped on the decks as they sail past.
